Pinus sylvestris ‘Filip’s Yellow Fellow’ Dwarf Scots Pine

Pinus sylvestris '‘Filip’s Yellow Fellow’
Rare Dwarf Scots Pine Tree

Zones 3-7

Pinus sylvestris 'Filip's Yellow Fellow' is a golden-yellow Scots pine discovered as a chance seedling by Edwin Smits in Michigan. This stunning evergreen conifer is prized for its glowing chartreuse to golden-yellow foliage, with the brightest coloration developing during the winter months. Growing into a beautiful shrub-like or small tree form, 'Filip's Yellow Fellow' provides year-round interest with its unique coloration and attractive evergreen texture.

After 10 years, it typically reaches around 4-6 ft tall and wide, making it an excellent choice for smaller landscapes, specimen plantings, or adding a bright accent to the garden. Its vibrant foliage also provides habitat and attracts birds. For best growth, plant in full sun to mostly sunny locations in average, well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then it is adaptable to occasional watering once established.

Limited Quantities Available !! As we have lots cultivars of conifers, we often do not have many of each cultivar. We recommend that you buy the conifers you want immediately as we often sell out of certain selections.
