'Tone’ is a narrow growing selection of Japanese white pine with short blue-green needles. ‘Tone’ may reach 5 ft in height by 2 ft in width in 10 years with a distinctive sculptural shape that is quite pleasing.  This hardy evergreen makes an excellent addition to a garden or patio, providing year-round interest while staying relatively compact. With a unique and attractive form, 'Tone' stands apart from the crowd.
