'Skjak Flach' is selection of slow growing jack pine with a low spreading habit. This Norwegian selection is quite attractive for garden, making an excellent conifer to add in spaces where you need something shorter. ‘Skjak Flach’ also makes an excellent bonsai. 'Skjak Flach' may reach 1 ft in height by 3-4 ft in width in 10 years. 'Skjak Flach' is sometimes listed as Pinus sylvestris, but most conifer experts agree this selection is actually Pinus banksiana.
