Cornus hongkonesis 'Gekkou' is a newer moonshine evergreen dogwood selection from Japan that is coated in white flowers in the late spring. The foliage is evergreen, retaining throughout the winter giving year-round interest. The blooms are the typical blooms of Chinese dogwoods and are quite showy. 'Gekkou' may reach 7-8 ft in height and width in 10 years.
