'Karens’ is a beautiful evergreen azalea that is especially hardy. The 1.5 inch red-purple blooms cover the branches in the spring. ‘Karens’ is a particularly heavy blooming Kurume azalea that puts on a show and is easy to grow. ‘Karens’ also is especially fragrant. ‘Karens’ may reach 4 ft in height and width in 10 years.
