Acer Palmatum 'Mama Fu' leafs out in the early spring heavily of pink variegation unlike any other with that style of variegation. The tree is noticeably pink, even from a distance. Green finally begins to fade into the leaf by mid to late spring. Mid-summer the pink fades to a cream. Fall colors are oranges to reds. Mature height is not known as this is a new selection but estimated to be around 10-12 feet in 15 years.
