Exceptional Weeping Raraflora Japanese Maple

Zones 5-9

'Raraflora' was selected and originally propagated by the famous Bergmans of Raraflora Nursery. While named after Raraflora Nursery, the name is quite fitting. "Rara" translates as rare while "flora" tranlates as plants. This selection is quite rare on the nursery trade even though it is quite beautiful. 'Raraflora" leafs out with shrimp pink new growth on a thinly serrated laceleaf , later turning to bright green. New growth during the summer on 'Raraflora' is a shrimp pink again providing contrast well against the older light green growth. Fall color is glowing orange-red. 'Raraflora' typically grows 4ft in height by 6ft width in 10 years.
